INVESTOR GREEN CARDS
If you are one of the fortunate few who has sufficient funds (approximately $525,000) to invest in a qualified U.S. investment, you can use this investment to obtain a “green card”.
Most importantly, if at the end of the 2-3 year period the investment increases in value, you would not only have a green card, but also a profit. Obviously, if the investment decreases in value, you could lose part of your money.
GG&W has been working closely with one of those qualified EB-5 investment companies. American Life (www.amlife.us). They are the oldest and most established EB-5 investment program which has obtained a very high success rate of green cards for their investors. Since the quality of their real estate investments has resulted in significant profits for both their American as well as their Japanese national investors, we feel confident in recommending them to our clients rather than some of the other EB-5 projects which we believe are too risky and speculative.
These EB-5 investments do not require proof that the foreign national will work at the EB-5 investment so the applicant is free to work wherever he chooses. The investment can be made while the applicant is in the U.S. and once he receives the initial approval from USCIS he will be eligible to receive an Employment Authorization Document. The investor can even remain overseas while his green card is being processed.
