K1 FIANCÉS AND FIANCÉES

The most common form of K nonimmigrant visa allows an alien to enter the U.S. to marry a U.S. citizen fiancé or fiancée. The marriage must take place within 90 days of entry and is really just transitional status for aliens who will be immediately eligible for permanent residence upon marriage.
